Claude Moore Colonial Farm Mug

Claude Moore Colonial Farm Mug

Nicely sized ceramic mug with the Claude Moore Colonial Farm farmer featured on the front and important farm location information on the back (or vice-versa if you are left-handed).

Best for hot coffee, but can also be used for other caffeinated and non-caffeinated drinks like tea, milk, beer, wine, and even water. But why waste a good coffee mug by filling it with anything but coffee?

Have a nice cup of coffee in this mug in the morning, and imagine the last time you visited the farm. The peace, the quiet, the earthiness and fresh air. Crops growing, animals grazing. Trees everywhere and the small stream you can hear flowing gently just behind the farmhouse.

Finish your coffee, maybe have another, and then come by the farm for a visit.

The mug is dishwasher safe, however, over time the images may fade after repeated washing.

Colonists liked to have coffee when they could. Below is a quote taken from P. Brown’s book, In Praise of Hot Liquors: The Study of Chocolate, Coffee and Tea-Drinking 1600-1850:

It [coffee] does the orifices of the stomach good, it fortifies the heart within, helpeth digestion, quickens the spirits … is good against eyesores, cough, or colds, rhumes, consumption, head ache, dropsy, gout, scurvy, Kings evil and many others.
