Description
Toss the ring onto the stick. How far back can you stand and score?
Today, we call this game “horseshoes” or “ring toss”.
A quoit is a flat ring of iron, wood, or rope. A hob is the stick or post.
Quoits is an old game, and was so even in 1771.
